The course materials consist of the 'Construction Site Safety' textbook.
'Construction Site Safety' is updated annually and provides practical health and safety guidance for building, construction and civil engineering sites.
The refresher course is for delegates who have previously passed the full five-day SMSTS course (or subsequent two-day refresher course), and can provide proof of attendance. It aims to bring their health and safety knowledge up to date, as well as giving a thorough overview of legislative changes and their impact in the workplace.
The course includes a wide range of topics, both building on those contained within the five-day course programme and introducing new subjects.
The course runs for 2 consecutive days from your chosen start date.
£335.00 per delegate plus VAT.
CHANGES TO CITB CSKILLS RULES ON REFRESHER COURSES
CSkills are changing the rules on the ‘Grace period’ for attending refresher courses.
Currently, a refresher course must be attended within six months of expiry of the current certificate.
From 1st January 2016, refresher courses must be attended BEFORE the current certificate expires, or the whole course will need to be taken again.
Anyone whose certificate expires before 31st December 2015 can claim the six months Grace Period, but any certificate expiring after 1st January 2016 will not have the Grace Period allowed and candidates must then re-sit the whole course.
We advise that everyone checks their certificate and get their refresher courses booked before the certificate expiry date.
